PALLAVI JOSHI

Biography : Pallavi Joshi is a film and television actress. From a very young age, she had keen interest in acting and was into theatre. She started her onscreen career as a child artist for movies such as Badla, Aadmi Sadak Ka and Dada. Some of the other movies that she has worked in later include Rukmavati ki Haveli, Suraj ka Satvan Ghoda, Trishagni, Vanchit, Rihaee, Saudagar, Panaah, Tehelka, Mujrim and The Making of the Mahatma. She won the nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Filmfare Awards for her role as a handicapped girl in the film Andha Yudh (1988). She also won a Special Jury Award at the 41st National Film Awards for Woh Chokri (1992). Joshi has also been seen on the small screen in serials such as Mr Yogi, Bharat Ek Khoj, Justajoo, Alpviram, Mriganayani, Talash, Imtihaan and her most famous Doordarshan serial Aarohan. She has also produced Marathi serials including Asambhav and Anubandh on Zee Marathi. She is married to filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri.
