The premiere show of the Telugu fantasy action drama Akhanda 2: Tandavam was held in India on December 11. The film is scheduled to be released worldwide on December 12, 2025. The film is directed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta, and Ishaan Saxena under the banners of 14 Reels Plus and IVY Entertainment. It is a sequel to the 2021 superhit film Akhanda. Nandamuri Balakrishna once again plays the lead role, alongside Samyuktha Menon, Aadhi Pinisetty, and Kabir Duhan Singh.

One user called the film a "three-hour torture" and wrote that the story is weak, the dialogue is cringeworthy, and the VFX are poor. What was the original release date of Akhanda 2?
Akhanda 2 was originally scheduled to release on December 5, 2025, but was postponed due to an order from the Madras High Court. This order was imposed due to a financial dispute filed by Eros International against 14 Reels Plus Entertainment. The matter was later resolved, and the film's release was scheduled for December 12. Judging by the buzz on social media after the premiere, audiences are quite excited about the film, and all eyes are now set on its theatrical release.
