The Indian social media influencer and Roadies season 17 contestant, Shreya Kalra, has been making headlines recently. The influencer has found herself in the middle of an online controversy after a video of her at a concert went viral in which she can be seen sitting on a man’s shoulders. The video took no time to go viral, and it sparked a lot of controversies and trolling. She faced backlash on her character from the trolls and was accused of cheating on her boyfriend, Rishabh Jaiswal. She eventually deleted the video, and now both Rishabh and Shreya have broken their silence on the issue.
Shreya broke her silence on the trolls
Shreya took to her Instagram story to share a note, where she expressed her shock over how easily people form judgments after seeing small video snippets. She said, “It’s honestly crazy how quick some of you are to judge a woman without knowing a single fact. You see a 5-second clip, and suddenly you think you have the right to question my character, abuse me, and create entire stories about my life?"

She continued to explain that the person in the video is like a brother to her. She wrote, “Let me make this clear: Vivek is literally like a brother to me. The people who actually matter in my life know this. If you don't, that's on you.”
Shreya continued, saying, “Since when are women not allowed to have friendships or bonds outside their relationship? Since when did being on someone's shoulders become a character certificate?”
Rishabh defends Shreya
Rishabh also took to Instagram to defend his girlfriend. He said, “Vivek is like family to both of us; he's a brother. There is absolutely nothing questionable about the situation, and there never was. If it's not a big deal for us, I don't understand why it has become such a big deal for others. Please stop sending her hate. She doesn't deserve even a bit of it.”
