Talking about the box office performance of the film, it had a very slow start on day 1. It just earned Rs 5.50 crore on the first day of its release. During the weekends, we usually get to see some growth and it did happen for Deva as well but not much. The movie earned Rs 1 crore more than the first day at the box office.

As per Pinkvilla, Deva earned Rs 6.50 crore on the second day. This takes the total to Rs 12 crore. A lot of things have affected the growth of the movie. Firstly, it is a remake. It is the official adaptation of Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews' 2013 film Mumbai Police. Deva marks his Bollywood debut.
Secondly, it has got a tough competition from Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya's Sky Force. The movie is doing a great job at the box office. It has been speculated that the lifetime business of Deva would be around Rs 35 crore in India.
