It is a story of two half-sisters, Swara and Ragini brought up in Bengali and Marwari households. It is about how they unite to bring together their estranged parents and their relationships. Both of them get married in the same Maheshwari family and the show follows their journey post that. Cultural clashes, family politics and sibling rivalry bring about the tussles in their lives. It is one of the successful shows of recent times and has made stars out of its main actors. The story has taken a leap of six months and we will see a new chapter in the lives of the sisters. Swaragini is produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms and stars Helly Shah, Namish Taneja, Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar and Varun Kapoor in lead roles. It airs from 9.30pm on Colors. The supporting cast includes Sachin Tyagi, Nagesh Salwan, Alka Kaushal, Sonica Handa, Amar Sharma, Tarun Singh and Parineeta Borthakur. The show showcases a medley of relationships and situations between the two sisters.
