Bollywood star Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja recently spoke about her son Yashvardhan’s upcoming debut in Bollywood and also shared her thoughts on newcomers in the industry. During an interview with Eat Travel Repeat, Sunita was told by a viewer that Yashvardhan is handsome and he should have been cast in Saiyaara, the debut film of Ahaan Panday. Sunita's statement raised eyebrows when she said that her son is part of “a better picture” than Saiyaara.
Yashvardhan, son of Govinda and Sunita, is all set to make his debut in Hindi remake of filmmaker Sai Rajesh’s Telugu film Baby. She said, “I wish. But usse better picture kar raha hai Yash.” Sunita even added saying that although she has not yet seen Saiyaara, her son has watched it twice and appreciated it. She said that she plans to watch the film once it arrives on Netflix and said that she wished success to all debutants. “Maine abhi tak dekhi nahi hai. Yash ne do baar dekhi hai. Main dekhungi, mujhe dekhna hai. But abhi 14 tareek ko shayad aa raha hai naa Netflix pe. But good good. Best of luck to all the kids who are coming up. And I want ki sab bachhe khoob naam kamaye," said the star wife.

Meanwhile Sunita and Govinda’s marriage continues to grab attention after she filed for divorce on December 5, 2025 and also cited serious concerns. As per sources, the couple has been attending counselling sessions and Govinda’s manager dismissed the rumours and said that they are together and preparing to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. Neither Sunita nor Govinda has issued an official statement as of now.
