As reported by Sakshi Post, the IT department has not shared any statement for conducting a raid at the filmmaker's house and office. Surprisingly, the move occurred just a day after the raid at Dil Raju's house. They also raided the producer's properties in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
It was further mentioned that the IT officials are suspicious of tax evasion and are cross-checking the documents. The action is a part of the investigation they are carrying out to rule out alleged financial discrepancies and income that has not been accounted for. They are also looking for financial records and transactions that hint at any alleged potential tax evasion as well.
Meanwhile, coming to Sukumar's movie Pushpa 2, the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer has crossed over Rs 1500 crore at the worldwide box office. It has turned out to be the biggest Indian blockbuster of 2024.
