We take movie-watching very seriously and so should you. It’s an investment of time and money after all. We’re here with our weekly article of Hollywood films releasing this week. Last week saw the release of Dolittle, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, 1917 and Just Mercy. This week, three Hollywood films are all set to release. They are - The Turning, The Gentlemen and Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon. So without any further ado, let’s take a look at each one of them.
The Turning
The Turning is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by Floria Sigismondi, co-produced by Roy Lee, Scott Bernstein and Seth William Meier, and written by Carey and Chad Hayes. It is a modern adaptation of the 1898 ghost story The Turn of the Screw by Henry James. Steven Spielberg also serves as an executive producer. It stars Mackenzie Davis, Finn Wolfhard, Brooklynn Prince, and Joely Richardson. The film first entered development in March 2016 and was described as a passion project for Steven Spielberg, who wanted to be involved in a horror film again. The film adaptation went through two phases of production: first as Haunted with Juan Carlos Fresnadillo attached as director, then renamed as The Turning with Sigismondi. Synopsis: The Turning takes us to a mysterious estate, where newly appointed nanny Kate is charged with the care of two disturbed orphans, Flora and Miles. Quickly though, she discovers that both the children and the house are harboring dark secrets and things may not be as they appear.

The Gentlemen
The Gentlemen is a 2019 action crime comedy film written and directed by Guy Ritchie, from a story by Ivan Atkinson, Marn Davies, and Ritchie. The film stars Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Henry Golding, Michelle Dockery, Jeremy Strong, Eddie Marsan, Colin Farrell and Hugh Grant. The Gentlemen premiered at the Curzon Mayfair Cinema on December 3, 2019[5] and was released in the United Kingdom on 1 January 2020 and is scheduled to be released in the United States on 24 January 2020, by STXfilms. Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon
A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (also known as Farmageddon: A Shaun the Sheep Movie or Shaun the Sheep Movie 2) is a 2019 stop-motion animated science fiction comedy film produced by Aardman Animations. Directed by Will Becher and Richard Phelan in their directorial debuts, it is the stand-alone sequel to Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015) and is based on the claymation television series Shaun the Sheep, in turn based on the 1995 film A Close Shave created by Nick Park.
