Anandi (Toral Rasputra) got married as a child, but her childhood was ten times much better than what her daughter Nimboli (Gracy Goswami) is going through.
In the past few episodes of Balika Vadhu, we saw how Nimboli’s husband Kundan (Sparsh Shrivastav) is coming of age. Kundan is at a very vulnerable age, where he is just discovering his sexual needs and preferences. In the company of his useless friends, Kundan gets the idea of exploiting his wife- Nimboli, ‘coz he owns her. From childhood, it is instilled in his head that his wife is a nobody; she is there to serve and keep him happy.

We’ve seen the repercussions of child marriage when the makers showcased Anandi’s story. But with Nimboli, who doesn’t have the support of anyone the journey is going to be extremely difficult journey. The story suggests that Kundan will try to force himself on Nimboli, without even realising the implication of his actions.
