Vishnu Manchu's mythological action thriller Kannappa is currently running in the theatres. The movie directed by Manoj Kumar Singh received rave reviews from the audience. While some called it a visual treat, some found the film to be average. However, there was enough buzz around the movie for it to get a good start at the box office. This was despite the competition from Aamir Khan's movie Sitaare Zameen Par that released on June 20. Sitaare Zameen Par received good reviews and is performing well at the box office as well.
How much did Kannappa make on day 6?
As reported by Sacnilk.com, the early estimates suggest that Vishnu Manchu's movie Kannappa made around Rs 1.15 crore at the box office on day 6. The movie is maintaining its pace and has remained stable over the weekdays. On day 5, the movie had made around Rs 1.8 crore. There is a marginal dip in numbers, however, these are the early estimates and actual numbers for day 6 are yet to come in. The total collection of the movie is approximately Rs 28.65 crore. The movie is now one of the highest grossing movies of Vishu Manchu. For the unversed, the film also has cameos by Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and Mohanlal.

How much did Sitaare Zameen Par make on day 13?
Aamir Khan's movie Sitaare Zameen Par has put him back in the list of bankable actors. Post the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha, this movie has come as a sigh of relief for all Aamir Khan fans.
