JANHVI KAPOOR

Biography : Jahnavi Kapoor was born to actress Sridevi and filmmaker Boney Kapoor on 7 March 1997. She has a younger sister, Khushi and two half-siblings, actors Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. She is the niece of actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor. He attended Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai. Prior to making his film debut, he took an acting course at the Lee Strasburg Theater & Film Institute in California. She made her acting debut in 2018 with the romantic drama film Dhadak, which was a commercial success and earned the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut. Kapoor made her acting debut in 2018 with Romance Dhadak, directed by Shashank Khaitan, with co-actor Ishaan Khattar. The Hindi-language remake of the 2016 Marathi film Sairat stars Kapoor as an upper-class girl whose life becomes tragic after being absconded with a lower-class boy (played by Khattar). The film received mainly negative reviews, but worldwide gained collection of ₹ 1.1 billion, it proved to be a commercial success.
