KIRTIDAN GADHVI

Biography : Kirtidan Gadhvi is a famous Indian folk singer from Gujarat. He was born on February 23, 1975, in Valvod, Anand district, Gujarat. His father, Samratdan Gadhvi, was also a famous singer, so Kirtidan was exposed to music from a young age. He started learning music at the age of 5, and by the time he was a teenager, he was already performing at local events. Kirtidan received his BPA and MPA in music from the Faculty of Performing Arts, M. S. University, Vadodara. After graduating, he moved to Bhavnagar and became a music teacher at the Bhavnagar University. He also started writing and singing Gujarati jingles, and his work quickly became popular. In 2015, Kirtidan made his debut on the TV show MTV Coke Studio. He sang the song "Laadki" with Sachin–Jigar, Tanishka, and Rekha Bhardwaj, and the song became a huge hit. Since then, Kirtidan has released several albums and singles, and he has performed at major music festivals all over India. Kirtidan is known for his dayras, folk songs, and classical nuances. He is a versatile singer who can seamlessly blend different genres of music. He is also a gifted songwriter, and his lyrics are often infused with social commentary.
