Biography : Jheel Mehta is an Indian actress who is best known for her role as Sonu in the popular comedy television series Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She was born on June 28, 1995 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She started her acting career at the age of 9 with the Zee TV serial Chalti ka Naam Gaadi. In 2008, she joined the cast of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and played the role of Sonu for four years. She left the show in 2012 to focus on her studies. Jheel is a bright student and has achieved good grades in her exams. She is currently pursuing a degree in BBA from NMIMS University in Mumbai.
