SUCHITRA PILLAI

Biography : Suchitra Pillai is an Indian actress, model, anchor, and VJ. She was born in Ernakulam, Kerala, India, on August 27, 1970. She graduated with a B.E. in Electronics Engineering from the Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering, Bandra (West), Mumbai. However, she chose to pursue a career in arts over engineering. Pillai started her acting career in 1993 with the French film "Le prix d'une femme." She then appeared in the English film "Guru in Seven." She returned to India and began working as a video jockey. She made her Hindi film debut in 1998 with the film "Everybody Says I'm Fine." Pillai has starred in several Bollywood films, including "Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai," "Dil Chahta Hai," "Page 3," "Pyaar Ke Side Effects," "Fitoor," and "The Valley." She has also appeared in several television serials, including "Hip Hip Hurray," "Pradhan Mantri (Zee)," "Beintehaa," and "Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman." Pillai is also a singer and has released an album titled "Such is Life" in 2011. She is also an accomplished theater artiste. She has performed in several plays, including "Junoon," "Amma," and "The Vagina Monologues."
