VINAY PATHAK

Biography : Vinay Pathak is an Indian actor and a theatre person known for his comic timing. Vinay attended State University of New York at Stony Brook and acted in many plays. He has starred in various critically acclaimed films like "Khosla Ka Ghosla," "Bheja Fry," "Khoya Khoya Chand and Johnny Gaddaar and won rave reviews for his performance. He has also had major supporting roles in blockbusters like "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Pathak attended State University of New York at Stony Brook and acted in many plays. In 1999 he played the important role of Vineet sir in popular series "Hip Hip Hurrey". He also produced the film "Dasvidaniya," the story of man bidding farewell before dying. Pathak has also hosted TV shows like OYE , Cricket Crazy and "Ranvir Vinay Aur Kaun?," with friend and actor Ranvir Shorey. Hosted a show called "Duniya Goal Hain" on ESPN-STAR for the 2006 World Cup. He also teamed up with his friends Ranvir, Suresh Menon, and Gaurav Ghera to be a part of a gag-based show Great Indian Laughter Show. His film "Raat Gayi Baat Gayi" won the Best Film Award at HBO's New York South Asian International Film Festival, 2009 while Antardwand directed by Sushil Rajpal won the 2009 National Film Award for Best Film on Social Issues.
