JOHN ABRAHAM

Biography : John Abraham was born in Mumbai on December 17, 1972. His father, an architect, is a Malayali Syrian Christian and his mother Firoza Irani is Parsi. John has has a younger brother, Alan, and sister Susy Mathew. John did his schooling from the Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, Mumbai where a lot of Bollywood stars like Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor have studied. John went on to do his BA in Economics from Jai Hind College in South Mumbai. He later did Master of Management Studies from Mumbai Educational Trust (MET). It is while working with ad agency Enterpise-Nexus that John was spotted and soon began modelling. He went on to win the Gladrags Megamodel contest and made his Bollywood debut with Jism (2003). John dated his Jism co-star Bipasha Basu for almost a decade, before calling it quits last year. He is now engaged to be married to NRI investment banker Priya Runchal. John has come a long way and turned producer with 2012's Vicky Donor that went on to be a surprise hit. The actor's production company JA Entertainment also makes ad films.
