BOBBY DEOL

Biography : Bobby Deol, real name Vijay Singh Deol, is the son of senior actor Dharmendra and the brother of actor Sunny Deol. Bobby Deol made his debut in the film industry with the movie Barsaat (1995) opposite Twinkle Khanna. This young Deol was welcomed into the Industry and went on to act in suspense thriller Gupt (1997) which was a superhit. His other films Soldier (1998), Badal (2000), Ajnabee (2001), Humraaz (2002), Apne (2007), Dostana (2008), Yamla Pagla Deewana (2011) also did well at the box office. His work in the thriller genre is much appreciated. He has also done cameos in a few films. Deol was awarded the Filmfare Best Debut Award for his role in the 1995 film Barsaat and nominated for the Filmfare Best Actor Award for his performance in Humraaz in 2002. He is married to Tanya Ahuja and has two sons named Aryaman and Dharam.
