All the Indian football fans are in a frenzy, and Lionel Messi has finally started his GOAT India Tour 2025. He initiated the tour with a visit to Kolkata on December 13. The footballer is all set to visit Mumbai on December 14 and Delhi on December 15.
The king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has already met Lionel Messi during his visit to Kolkata. Fans could not hold their excitement upon seeing two legendary stars from different industries and nations meet.
As per reports, John Abraham and Tiger Shroff are also expected to visit the football icon in Mumbai. Both the actors have often expressed their love for football, and have taken initiatives to promote the sport in the nation.
As reported by Sporting News, there also might be a paddle game organized between Messi and famous cricketers like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Sachin Tendulkar.
Filmfare reported that the famous actress Kareena Kapoor is also expected to pay a visit to Lionel. There has been a lot of speculation about the same, as Kareena has often talked about her sons Jeh and Taimur being fans of the iconic and legendary football player.
Messi is also scheduled to visit the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. His visit to Narendra’s residence is scheduled on December 15. The GOAT India Tour will be ending with a celebrity match.
Lionel Messi’s GOAT India Tour 2025 will start on December 13 with visits to Kolkata at 10:30 am and Hyderabad at 7 pm, followed by Mumbai on December 14 at 5:30 pm, and will conclude in Delhi on December 15 at 1 pm, with the Mumbai visit being part of his India itinerary.
Lionel Messi is expected to arrive in Mumbai around 3:30 pm. He will attend the Cricket Club of India (CCI), where a Padel Cup will be held in his recognition. After the event, a fashion show with Bollywood celebrities and a unique masterclass for kids is also planned.
