Akhanda 2 earned approximately Rs 8 crore in paid previews held on Thursday, just one day before its official release. Following this, the film saw a tremendous surge in earnings on Friday. It collected approximately Rs 22.5 crore across all languages on its first day, which is considered a fantastic opening for the film.

The film continued to hold strong on the third day as well. According to reports, the film did a business of approximately Rs 3.35 crore on the third day. With this, the film's total earnings have reached Rs 49.45 crore. It is expected that the film will easily cross the Rs 50 crore mark by the end of the third day.
Regarding the film's occupancy, the Telugu (2D) version saw satisfactory audience turnout on Saturday. The average occupancy for the entire day was recorded at 30.95 percent. The morning shows started with a similar figure, which improved as the day progressed. The number of viewers will increase during the afternoon and evening shows, while the night shows will also receive a good response.
In Akhanda 2: Thandavam, Nandamuri Balakrishna is seen in his powerful avatar.
