The film collected Rs. 19 crore on its opening day. According to Sacnilk, on the second day, the film earned Rs. 22.35 crores.

On day three, as of 9:45 am, the film has already earned Rs. 1.62 crores. This has made its total collection to be around Rs. 42.97 crore. It should be noted that today’s figures are not final and may see changes.

The film has surpassed the India lifetime collections of several major Hollywood films released this year. The list includes Thunderbolts, which earned Rs. 22.39 crore; How to Train Your Dragon, which minted Rs. 25.69 crore; and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which saw an earning of Rs. 27.91 crore.

Superman 3D Record likely to fall soon

The film’s next target is DC’s Superman 3D, released earlier this year, which earned Rs. 49.53 crore in India. Avatar: Fire and Ash is expected to break this record within its opening weekend.
