At the very moment when action and violent films have taken over the box office, Kapil Sharma's film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 has been released in theaters. However, it has been a tough task to pull the audience for a comedy film in such a situation, and the very influence is undoubtedly seen in the film's revenue. The film has started screening in theaters, but the first figures are already quite worrisome.

As per the report from the industry tracker Sacnilk, the film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 gave only Rs 1.75 crore on its first day at the box office. The film, however, saw very little movement on the second day. By 12 PM, the film had grossed only around Rs 0.45 crore with a very low occupancy of 8.05 percent. Hence, the total earnings of the film after two days come to Rs 2.2 crore, which is regarded as significantly lower than the expectation.

About Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 vs Dhurandhar
The romantic comedy directed by Anukalp Goswami, this is such a movie that the competition at the box office is really tough. Ranveer Singh's movie Dhurandhar is currently doing extremely well commercially. The film has made more than Rs 240 crore in just eight days, and there is no indication of the movie losing its pace. Furthermore, the 19th of December sees the release of James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash, which could be a big threat in the near future considering the hype that the franchise has created.
Talking about the past, the first film of the series, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, made a total of Rs 49.9 crore, with a first-day collection of Rs 10.2 crore, which was much higher when compared to the sequel.
