Akhanda 2: The action-adventure film Akhanda 2: Thandavam, featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna, has been received fabulously at the box office. The movie had a good beginning right from the day of release, and it kept up the same power over the first weekend. However, the numbers showed a massive drop on Monday. There is a lot of hype among the viewers, which is visibly represented in the collections and the number of people watching the film in the theaters. The Sacnilk website reported that the movie collected roughly Rs 5.35 crores net from India on its fourth day, Monday. This comes to about Rs 66.45 crores in total net collection for the movie in India during the first four days. The movie was released with paid previews on Thursday and had a fantastic opening day on Friday. The weekend started with a little dip in collections, but the figures again stabilized on Sunday with the earnings of more than Rs 15 crores.

The Telugu 2D version's overall occupancy rate for Monday, December 15, 2025, was 23.47 percent. Night shows drew the most audience, occupancy exceeding 27 percent. Evening shows, with an occupancy of approximately 27.74 percent, also managed to pull in a considerable audience. Morning shows were average, but afternoon shows maintained their performance. The occupancy for the Telugu 3D version was slightly lower, at 14.35 percent overall.
