Avatar Fire and Ash Box Office Collection: At the Indian box office, James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash has emerged as a fierce rival to Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar. It debuted in theatres on December 19 and is among the most eagerly awaited movies of 2025. Since its theatrical premiere, the third film in the "Avatar" trilogy has made a respectable amount of money. In only three days after its release, it has made more than Rs 60 crore at the box office. Here's a look at its 4th day collection now.

The James Cameron-directed movie has been attracting a lot of people to cinemas. The Sacnilk early report states that Avatar: Fire and Ash has made Rs 0.03 crore on its 4th day- the first Monday- since its debut. Because it was a weekend, the movie on its 3rd day saw a modest increase in comparison to the first two days. The movie's total net revenue in India is Rs 66.68 crore.

According to the report, Avatar 3 witnessed an overall 45.96% English occupancy on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

About Avatar 3

In the Avatar franchise, it is the third movie. December 2009 saw the premiere of the first Avatar in theatres. The second instalment, Avatar: The Way of Water, debuted in theatres in December 2022, fourteen years later. And now, three years later, Avatar: Fire and Ash has made its theatrical debut. Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet have returned to their roles from earlier films.

James Cameron has also stated that he has two more sequels in the works. Avatar 4 and Avatar 5 are purportedly scheduled for release in 2029 and 2031, respectively, but are presently in separate phases of production.

Dhurandhar vs Avatar 3

During its third weekend, Dhurandhar easily outperformed Hollywood blockbuster Avatar: Fire and Ash. Despite a wider multi-language release in India, Avatar: Fire and Ash grossed an estimated Rs 66.65 crores net during the weekend, while Dhurandhar grossed around Rs 93 crores.

Compared to its predecessor, Avatar: The Way of Water, which had a pan-India opening weekend net of Rs 126.20 crore, this represented an approximately 50% decrease. The gross total for the James Cameron-directed film Dhurandhar is presently estimated to be Rs 79.2 crore, as it continues to dominate ticket sales with little sign of slowing.
